About External Spray Render

Spray rendering only requires one coat and it is applied to a building using a render pump. This is the most modern method and it is much faster than applying render with a trowel. Putting the render on in one application also allows for a better finish. The work can be completed in just 1-2 days for a domestic property (depending on the weather).

Monocouche rendering is simply another name for spray rendering. It means ‘one coat’ in French, referring to the fact that this type of rendering does not need multiple layers. A quality finish is achieved with just one coating.

Spray rendering needs to be carried out when it is light and warm. This limits the time during which we can work in winter months, making it more practical to apply spray rendering during the spring and summer months. Rain and heat can also affect rendering application. Please be aware that rendering will not dry properly in damp weather. To make sure we can complete the work to our usual high standards, we may have to reschedule during poor weather conditions.
